Mario was employed as a consultant by RedPrairie UK, at a time when we had committed to implement, in a very compressed timescale, their warehouse management system (Dispatcher) plus other applications including VirtualView, a unique planning and integration tool which Mario had played a part in developing.

This implementation was part of a major project which helped secure a very high-value third party logistics contract. The contract was awarded very largely on our perceived ability to define, design, integrate and implement specific supply chain management tools within a 4-month timescale.

Mario was assigned to project-manage and implement two particularly critical developments, which had to be in place before the contract could commence. Working closely with our project team and our new customer, he took the developments from prototype to parallel running well within the defined timescales and was a major contributor to the successful completion of our project, on-time and within budget.

It was a genuine pleasure to have such a likeable, extremely conscientious individual come aboard as part of our team. Post implementation, Mario proved his worth on a number of occasions, when his broad IT knowledge and technical expertise helped guide us over a few additional hurdles in the early days of “going live”.
